What are the responsibilities and job description for the Research Chemist position at Kelly?
Kelly Science & Clinical has a new temp-hire opportunity for a Chemist in Readington Township, NJ! Relocation assistance is provided!
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Plans, executes studies, and prepare reports on extractables, and extractable-leachable correlations, and material characterizations
- Validates mass spectrometry methods
- Analyze and evaluate mass spectrometry data
- Develop GC/MS and LC/MS methods per customer requests
- Communicates data and reports with clients and guides clients based on an understanding of the regulatory environment
- Collaborate frequently with team members on laboratory techniques, sample preparation, data analysis, and documentation
- Ensures compliance of company and client protocols, safety policies, methods, and SOPs
- Other duties as requested
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Chemistry 7-10 years of work experience
- Masters in Chemistry 3-5 years of work experience
- PhD in Chemistry 0-2 years of work experience
- Must have experience with GC/MS and LC/MS
- Must have experience of sample preparation and ability to perform analytical methods
- Must be able to solve analytical problems and troubleshoot GC/MS and LC/MS instruments and experiments
- Ability to create client reports and supporting documentation
- Above average communication and collaboration skills
- Highly organized
- Thrives in a team-oriented and goal-driven environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
