Kelly Services has an immediate opening for a Sanitation Technician in Franklin, WI!
Pay Rate: $18 Mon-Fri 6:00am-4:30pm
Temp-Hire
Responsibilities:
- Disassemble and inspect all components for damage or anything out of the ordinary.
- Clean all components per Standard Operating Procedure, (SOP) or Work Instructions, (WI)
- Communicate with Production Supervisor regarding change-over schedule, plan ahead, in order to minimize downtime.
- Document data associated with sanitations and review data to find room for improvement.
- Create or Improve, SOP’s / WI’s related to sanitation process.
- Evaluate current tools available for sanitation and make recommendations for improvement.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement activities throughout the company.
- Support safety related improvements related to process/equipment
- Additional duties such as Material Handling and Compounding may be required.
- Other projects as assigned by supervisor related to safety, improving efficiency, reducing downtime, increasing output, reducing cost, establishing documentation or improving existing documentation.
Required Experience, Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 6-months of experience in disassembly, inspection, cleaning, and re-assembly of machines / components of a machine or other transferable experience / education
- Hands on experience with good plant hygiene practices, microbiological control(s) and machine material compliance (e.g., food/OTC grade/contact).
- Preferred experience with sanitations and maintaining equipment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must be able to use a computer to plan the day’s activities and document work / hours performed.
- Demonstrated ability to use hand tools effectively
- Authorized L.O.T.O.
- Document any required cleaning / activity logs
- Ability to find, interpret, and use, mechanical drawings / machine manuals
Educational Qualifications:
High School Diploma / GED or higher, equivalent work experience
