What’s a typical day as a Forklift Operator? You’ll be:
- Operating a stand up forklift (dock stocker and reach)to retrieve various items for orders
- Filling orders using packing lists as a guide to pick various items
- Printing packing lists and placing them on boxes
- Using equipment to pick items within the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Using the WMS to group orders that will ship using the same carrier
- Using a forklift or pallet jack to move pallets to designated areas
- Continuously lifting and moving up to 50-lb containers from pick slots to forklifts
- Have a high school diploma/GED or equivalent
- Have the ability to consistently lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
- Have the ability to consistently move in a full range of motion
- Have the ability to stand for long periods of time
- Have previous experience driving a standup forklift and/or pallet jack (preferred)
- Have previous distribution or warehouse experience (preferred)
