DESCRIPTION
Position Summary: Guarantee the supply chain from raw material to the end product, ensuring delivery date compliance and optimization of productivity and costs.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all company policies
- Utilize IT system (GPT or SAP) to plan production and deliveries effectively.
- Analyze production capacity and make adjustments to meet and exceed goals.
- Define and deliver a Service Plan (reference lead-times) and perform daily monitoring of lead-times by manufacturing routes. Take measures to address any deficiencies.
- Manage purchases and procurement of material families to ensure efficient service.
- Maintain reliable inventory and take preventive steps to avoid stockouts, including auxiliary materials.
- Monitor and manage logistics and transportation.
- Provide regular and accurate reports on all activity.
- Develop and train employees. Establish and communicate expectations and manage performance.
- Other tasks as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Supply Chain Management or similar.
- 2 years of experience in a supply chain function in an industrial consumer good environment.
- Supervisory experience.
- APICS certification.
- Advanced knowledge of ERP systems, SAP preferred.
- Experience with continuous improvement.
