Team Lead
Redford, MI
Hours: 6am - 2:30 pm (may need to stay over to support 2nd shift employees)
Pay: $28/hr
We are seeking a Team Lead to support employees in a manufacturing and warehouse environment.
How you'll support your team...
- Execute programs that drive redeployment/retention, skill improvement, and efficient communication
- Actively inform Talent of safety policies, standard methodologies, and updates
- As Talent issues arise, make sure resolution occurs in a timely and professional manner
- Drive compliance to customer required processes
- Engage with employees through active monitoring
- Work closely with management to provide team with daily work direction
- Ensure WORQ process is being followed
- Provide daily direction to supplier team of contract staff on-site
- Approve time cards and obtain overtime approvals
- Engage and work with Kelly's Account Manager to address any coaching and counseling of team
- Work with following groups: ATNPC, Garage Area, New build, Flex, Marshalling, FINS, Gear Lab, Tooling and WORQ task assignment
Does this sound like you?
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two years employee management experience preferably in Automotive environment
- Proficient understanding of HR/staffing practices such as on-boarding, off-boarding, talent management, employment law, and contract language
- Ability to actively build and maintain both internal and external business relationships
- Results-Oriented, hardworking, and have strong attention to detail in a constantly evolving environment
