Kelly Services is looking for a Warehouse Lead for immediate hire in Bunnell, FL

Position: Warehouse Lead

Work Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm

Pay- $17-$20/hr DOE

Quality Management

• Inform Managing Partner of any design or space constraints
• Keep Managing Partner informed of quality issues
• Participate in Quarterly Quality Review
• Responsible for the quality review of repackaging and re-labeling operations and the final disposition of the nonconforming product
• Prepare and review MOPs

Warehouse Operations

• Ensure that product and labeling is properly held, segregated, stored and accounted for in the warehouse and production areas
• Train, manage and monitor good sanitation and health habits of warehouse personnel engaged in shipping, labeling and repackaging operations
• Supervise, inspect, control and review all documents related to quality required for all repackaging and labeling operations
• Maintain current warehouse storage plan
• Keep and reconcile inventories on a daily basis (physical count to shipping records; and compare with Billing Department records)
• Responsible for final disposition of non-conforming product
• Responsible for disposition of returned product
• Keep warehouse temperature control log
• General Filing
• Generate Correspondence as required
• Perform various tasks as needed or requested

Scheduling

• Manage inventories and provide input to Purchasing to avoid backorder situations

Shipping

• Pull product to fill customer orders (FIFO)
• Prepare product/documentation for shipping
• Ship product via common carrier
• Prepare and ship samples and trade show items
• Ensure that orders are in compliance with IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations, DOT, and any other transportation and safety regulations. (OSHA)
• Provide Accounting Department with requirements for freight forwarder quotes
• Issue call tags
• Palletize orders for shipment via freight forwarder

Receiving

• Accept and store materials coming into warehouse
• Check incoming quantity against invoice and shipping documents
• Coordinate product release inspection with Regulatory
• Document shipping discrepancies and report to the shipper and Purchasing

Skills-Knowledge-Abilities

• Must have excellent oral and written communications
• Must maintain certification to operate warehouse equipment.
• Must have customer service skills for daily tasks.

• Must have the ability to read and follow directions.
• Must have the ability to work with staff and customers.
• Must have the ability to be detail oriented and well organized.
• Must have the ability to work independently to perform assigned tasks.

• Must have knowledge of basic computer skills to produce mailing labels.
• Must maintain inventory of warehouse material and communicate replenishment to Purchasing.
• Must have knowledge of shipping requirements for domestic and international shipping.
