What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Analyst position at KELMASSO2?
The Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for deep environment testing. The Quality Assurance Analyst will ensure that all applications are in proper working order prior to implementations, trainings, and scheduled environment deployments. The Quality Assurance Analyst will work closely with the business staff and development team to identify deficiencies in all environments. Upon finding any system deficiencies, will appropriately define the problem and urgency for a fix by writing tickets for the development team. The Quality Assurance Analyst is a remote position with the option to work in any of Kelmar’s offices including Rockland, MA; Wakefield, MA; or Wilmington, DE.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Learning how Kelmar’s applications function in all areas and how different configurations affect outcomes
- Testing each UAT environment and utilizing the Integrated Testing Lab within a sprint for efficient development
- Testing each production environment after production deployments
- Full regression testing of new environments set to be delivered to clients for implementation
- Testing new features, enhancements, bug fixes
- Alerting manager and development team of all possible defects
- Writing tickets and communicating deficiencies in a concise manner
- Writing documentation for new features or updating documentation as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field; or 3 years of software testing experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with a geographically distributed team
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule as necessary for testing production deployments that occur after business hours or on weekends
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S without sponsorship now and in the future
SALARY & BENEFITS:
Compensation for this role varies depending on several factors including work location, level of experience, and skill set. As required by applicable law, the hiring range for this position is $65,000-75,000.
