Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose and treat psychiatry patients as guided by evidence-based care.
• Prescribe medications and/or psycho therapeutic treatments for mental, emotional or behavioral disorders.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, family, and primary care provider to discuss treatment plans and patient progress.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records related to all professional services provided.
• Provide support and collaborate with therapists who carry their own caseload.

Qualifications

• Requires MD or DO.
• Current unrestricted Texas medical licensure
• Board certification within 3 years of experience
• Valid prescriptive license required
