The Inventory Analyst supports the Inventory Manager in monitoring supply consumption; tracking and analyzing inventory stock levels tosimultaneously improve supply availability, asset turn-over, and overall visibility to inventory on-hand. Scope of responsibility include med/surgsupplies, clinical lab supplies and drugs (except scheduled drugs). Assists the Inventory Manager to implement the rationalization andconsolidation of facilities-based inventory management.In addition to analytical tasks, the Inventory Analyst performs front-line tasks including receipt auditing, storage configurations, and monitoringof stock and stock items. Maintains a high standard of accuracy and interacts frequently with the hospital data control system.The Inventory Analyst reflects the mission, vision, and values of KSC, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and CorporateCompliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:The Inventory Analyst develops strong working relationships with clinician in order to ensure:• Reduce SCM burden on Kelsey-Seybold clinicians so that clinicians focus on patient care• Minimize stockoutsThe individual will also work collaboratively with clinic administrators, Director of Operations, and ASC Administration, supply chain staff,vendors, and other individuals internal and external to KSC

Experience
With high school diploma or GED four (4) years or more years of direct inventory control management and logistics experience in a clinical environment – ideally to include complex perioperative inventories.▪ The role requires a deep understanding of inventory control techniques receiving processes and distribution.▪ Demonstrated analytical experience with a solid knowledge of MMIS design – advanced Excel, ideally basic database skills.B.
