Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

Keltec Technolab, Inc., located in Twinsburg, is an Ohio-based manufacturer of industrial filtration products for the compressed air, refrigeration, and natural gas industries. We are looking to add an additional Manufacturing Engineer to our growing manufacturing business. This is a direct-hire, 1st shift, full-time, Monday - Friday, salaried position.

The Manufacturing Engineer is a diverse roll that encompasses providing technical expertise and resources to many facets of the business. Responsibilities include:

• New filter product design, including calculations and sizing, material selection, creating drawings and documentation, costing, and quoting.
• Providing product technical support to our customers and customer service and sales employees.
• Making changes and revisions to existing product designs and drawings, raw materials, bills of material, and work instructions.
• Provide assistance to diagnose, troubleshoot, and solve equipment, product and quality issues on the production floor.
• Creating drawings, programs and recipes for various automated machines, using a variety of different machine-specific software packages.
• Design of basic tooling, fixtures and machine parts.
• Leading or assisting with capital investment, productivity, cost reduction and continuous improvement projects, such as new manufacturing machinery, work centers, and facilities improvements.
  
  

A minimum of an Associate’s Degree in an Engineering or Engineering Technology field is required. A Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering field is desired. Strong mechanical aptitude and a technical mindset is required. Demonstrated problem solving skills is required. Hands-on experience operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and/or building equipment and machinery, including use of tools and working with mechanical, pneumatic and electrical systems, is preferred. Candidates should be proficient with basic AutoCAD software, drafting, and dimensioning. Basic knowledge of Excel is also expected. Electrical experience, such as understanding wiring diagrams and circuits, is a plus.
