Description
Kelvin Group is seeking an AP Specialist to join our Accounts Payable team!
Key Responsibilities
- Record incoming vendor invoices into Purchase Order and Accounts Payable
- Reconcile vendor statements to vendor account
- Prepare monthly accruals as needed
- Review team members data input file daily
- Communicate with vendor on account as needed
- Work team on completing weekly check run
- Setup new vendors and compile all needed documentation
- Ad Hoc Projects
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration preferred
- 3 years prior Accounts Payable and Purchasing experience is preferred with familiarity of various payable purchasing techniques, standard practices and procedures related to accounts payable and purchasing
- Experience with credit card reconciliation
- Proficiency using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite or related software as well as other accounting software programs.
- Ability to interact professionally with vendors demonstrating a natural customer service orientation and highly competent negotiation skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
