Description
Responsible for leading and managing operational group within defined environments while meeting all KPIs for the site.
KEY OUTCOMES (KPI’S):
OUTCOME: Ensure safety and security of all associates

Maintain incidents and accidents to zero target occurrences

Immediate response to any deficient or identified concerns

Foster a safety-first environment for all associates and guests
OUTCOME: Meet and Exceed Budget targets

Monitor and improve on productivity throughout the year to meet or exceed targets

Control expenses and ensure costs savings are found in key areas of large dollar amounts
OUTCOME: Meet or exceed customer expectations

Maintain OTS contribution through daily shipments of all required orders

Minimize EPT to below stated company targets

Ensure quality and other key functions to reduce and eliminate claims
OUTCOME: Drive continuous improvement culture

Challenge current processes and work methods

Ensure associates are trained in continuous improvement methodologies

Lead group problem solving events, implement lean principles with emphasis on shop floor visual management
OUTCOME: Contribute to Growth of Organization

Ensure staff is trained and built with bench strength for back fill and growth, active mentorship to newer managers

Monitor facilities and operations to adapt ahead of planned impacts to the operation

Qualifications
STRENGTHS TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

Background in Operations – Distribution environment

Background in LEAN concepts and implementation
-
5 years supervisory experience
-
3-5 years Management experience
-
Multi-Facility experience
-
Bachelor’s degree preferred – Bus. Admin., Supply Chain, Engineering

Highly proficient in Microsoft Office software (primarily Outlook, Excel and Word)
-
Experience using ERP and WMS systems
-
Project Management experience
-
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
-
Exceptional work ethic and desire to succeed

Interpersonal skills
