Job Description
To maintain a clean, organized, sanitary kitchen including all dinnerware, silverware, glassware, pots, pans and equipment. This position reports to the kitchen manager/chef.
Please note: This position may require weekend and holiday shifts
Essential Functions:
Maintain sanitary environment in both the kitchen and restrooms.
Safely and efficiently operates dish washing machine.
Ensures proper soap and rinse chemicals are loaded for washing.
Removes from service any dishes, utensils, and glassware that are damaged or broken.
Helps Stock delivered food and non-food items.
Empty and clear garbage bins and breakdown of boxes.
Routinely cleans restromms and restocks needed items.
Deep cleaning of kitchen and equipment.
Maintains a clean and sanitary work environment.
Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.
Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward all guests and coworkers.
Adheres to all policies and procedures of KENAKI
Performs other duties as assigned.
Prior experience preferred, but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
