The primary function of the Quality Control Assistant is to provide product support to Operations and external customers through a variety of analytical chemistry and wet chemistry activities. This includes sampling raw materials, chemical analysis, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting, and project reporting. This also includes communication with Operations and Customer Service to ensure customer satisfaction. This position is Monday-Friday from 6:00AM - 2:15PM.

Responsibilities:
- May collect samples, prepare shipments and inspect raw materials and finished goods.
- May test raw materials as applicable.
- May perform raw material, finished goods and packaging release, with supervision, as applicable.
- Must follow all procedures and SOPs and assist with updates.
- May perform limited batch record reviews, with supervision, as applicable.
- Must maintain proper quality documentation.
- Generate Certificate of Analysis.
- Support Change Management process, as necessary.
- Daily data entry into M3 and LIMs, as applicable.
- Report any nonconformities by following applicable SOPs.
- Send out supplier evaluation samples, as applicable.
- Must follow good lab procedures, safety, etc.
- Must work closely with cross functional teams (including Operations, R&D, and other quality groups.)
- High School Diploma, up to 2 years of related experience.
- Associates Degree preferred.
- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, inventory, inspection or other related experience preferred.
- Must have and maintain an insurable driving record.
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Must have basic computer skills, including MS Office
- Ability to operate, troubleshoot, perform maintenance, instruct, and perform method validation on lab equipment
- Ability to interact well with others in a team environment
- Must have basic math skills
