Forklift Operator/Picker

Location: Pooler, GA

Pay：$17 per hour starting

Employment Type: Full-Time 40 hours per week

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Job description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Forklift Operator to join our Pooler, GA team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a electric sit-down forklift to transport pallets of merchandises to designated locations and ensure compliance with company safety standards. Your role will involve picking, maintaining a well-organized warehouse space, ensure inventory accuracy and update inventory system. This is a full-time position based in our Savannah, GA location.

Responsibilities

• Operate an electric sit-down forklift to transport pallets of merchandises to designated locations.
• Ensure proper loading of pallets in inventory locations, adhering to company safety standards.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety procedures while operating the forklift and handling pallets.
• Monitor and respond to requests from unloaders who require pallets at their dock.
• Optimize warehouse space utilization and ensure all items are appropriately stored.
• Make sure inventory is accurate
• Update changes in the inventory system
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements

• Valid forklift license (preferred)
• Ability to lift 50lb to 80lb consistently
• Strong attention to detail.
• Highly motivated and driven to meet service needs.
• Organized and detail orientated
• Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
