Position Summary

The Birmingham office currently serves as the centralized inbound / outbound mail center. The AP mailroom clerk will be responsible for efficiently distributing mail to the various Financial Operations teams.

Principle Responsibilities

Inbound Mail-

  • Research and open mail daily / Date stamp
  • Decipher correct electronic routing from detailed desk top procedure
  • Scan and email all documents including envelope to correct department

Outgoing Mail-

  • Mail checks from settlement runs per special handling instructions
  • Mail out bulk letters

Process Settlement Run-

  • Process Accounts Payable settlement runs for outgoing checks

Ad hoc assignments as needed

Required Job Skills

Prior mailroom distribution is helpful
