Our Marketing Representative is responsible for creating and maintaining business relationships with accounts in the Chicago market. Kemper owns and operates 90 retail, non-standard auto insurance locations through five states under multiple brands. We focus on providing non-standard insurance to predominantly Latino communities.
Position Responsibilities:
- Responsible for obtaining B2B auto insurance referrals from new and existing accounts primarily in the Chicagoland Area
- Market our auto insurance services to standard agencies, car dealerships, and other financial organizations
- Develop and maintain existing accounts by meeting face to face, virtually or over the phone
- Efficiently manage multiple lead sources
- Route qualified referrals to the appropriate sales agent for further development and closure
- Ability to visit accounts in person or virtually 3-4 days a week
- Bring creative ideas to the table to provide brand awareness
- Report marketing activity to Marketing Manager and work together on ways to increase opportunities and reach goals
Position Qualifications:
- 3 years of sales experience, account management, or customer service
- Excellent communication both verbally and written
- Ability to present any script confidently, over the phone or in person
- Strong organization skills to handle multiple accounts and follow up on tasks
- Able to prioritize and work independently with minimal supervision
- Insurance background preferred
- Microsoft Office proficient
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Bilingual - English and Spanish (but not required)
