Full-Time position (40 hours/week)

12pm - 8pm shift

Weekend Flexibility

Position Responsibilities:

• Implements menus
• Oversees and participates in food preparation
• Ensures sanitation in all areas of Culinary Services
• Completes all tasks for Cook checklist and assists with meal prep
• Coordinates and prepares for the lunch and dinner meal service
• Contributes to Healthcare meal prep (mechanical foods)
• Guarantees quality of meal services

Competencies:

• A friendly, professional and enthusiastic personality
• A passion for improving the lives of seniors
• Knowledge of and the ability to conform to food service sanitation practices as necessary to fulfill state regulations
• Possess exceptional organizational skills and customer service skills
• The ability to work well under time constraints and be able to meet deadlines

Education & Experience:

• Prior culinary training/education, preferred (but we’ll train the right candidate)
• 2 years of cooking experience, required
• Capable of obtaining a ServSafe Certification
• Familiar with reading production sheets, recipe, cook and professional chef cookbooks
