Shift: 2nd Monday-Friday 8 hour 3pm-11am

Responsible for ensuring all daily production issues are complete for the CNC department’s production programs. Receives CAD drawing from engineering department and produces CNC program for machining of product and selects tooling to be used for manufacturing. Ensures that those programs successfully operate.

Receives CAD drawing from engineering department and produces CNC program for machining of product and selects tooling to be used for manufacturing. Ensures that those programs successfully operate.
Tasks
- NC Programmer is responsible for development of NC programs to support
- CNC Programmer is responsible for development of programs, and execute ECR’s as needed to support operations.
- They will work in conjunction with the Quality department, engineering staff and designers to review designs, Bill of Materials, metallurgical specifications and "Designed for Manufacturing" products.
- The candidate should have 5 or more years’ experience in CNC machining and grinding, SAP and CAM software.
- The candidate should have high school degree or GED.
- A college degree, vocational or technical training in manufacturing technologies is a plus
- Candidate should have expert knowledge on multiple machine controls
- Candidate should have excellent attendance, self starter, and highly motivated.
- Be aware of and adhere to Environmental, Health and Safety practices for the facility and immediate area.
- Support the Lean Enterprise/25 Keys initiatives and continuously strive to improve Customer satisfaction through improved quality, reduction in waste and improved productivity.
- Perform tasks in a quality manner to meet external and internal Customer specifications and requirements.
- Perform in a flexible and cooperative manner toward team objectives and the goals of the company.
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with those you come in contact with in all matters.
- Complete all necessary documentation, electronic data entries and communications accurately and timely.
