Job Posting for SCHOOL AGE SITE DIRECTOR at Kenosha YMCA
The Site Director shall oversee the planning, implementing, supervising, and evaluating of daily recreational activities to provide adventure, enjoyment and develop social skills and interests in the children. Additionally, ensures that programs are provided in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Kenosha YMCA and the licensing regulations of the State of Wisconsin.
The Site Director shall act as the director of their site taking full responsibility of the program including supervising staff and children.
Oversee operation of assigned site and maintain state licensing and Young Star guidelines
Create weekly lesson plans and lead counselors in facilitation
21 years or older
Must meet the state requirement for Child Care Teacher – currently 6 credits of Education or related field pertaining to working with School-Age children (5-12yrs)
320 (or more) hours of teaching experience
Provide proof of First Aid/CPR/AED Certification within 3 months of hire
Provide current Wisconsin certificate from The Registry with level 7 or higher
