Responsibilities:
- Prepare sushi dishes
- Ensure high-quality food presentation and taste
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the sushi preparation area
- Monitor and manage inventory of sushi ingredients
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or relevant role in a food service, restaurant, or catering environment (at least 2 years)
- Proficiency in sushi making techniques, including rice preparation and knife skills
- Strong understanding of culinary techniques and flavor combinations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
