What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilitator – Student Success Center position at Kent Consortium?
- Two (2) years of college education in related vocational and/or education areas preferred.
- Previous experience in a related field is also preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Knowledge of local area business and industry environments.
- Assist in developing and delivering Going PRO (PBIS) employability skills curriculum to KCTC.
- Develop and support students with attendance plans.
- Assist with attendance and Going PRO (PBIS) reports.
- Provide assistance on remediation software, employability skills, and enhance work-related behaviors.
- Provide assistance with the Tier I, Tier II, and Tier III behavioral supports and process.
- Assist in the monitoring of students before and after sessions.
- Participate in and support building Safety & Security initiatives and procedures.
- Support the implementation of a Multi-Tiered System of Support data and reporting structure.
- Strong communication/interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, teachers, etc.
- Ability to pay close attention to details, stay organized, prioritize, and work independently in a timely manner.
- Ability to assist and support the student’s development of responsible behaviors while in the school environment.
- Complete monthly and end-of-year reports.
- Build positive relationships with KCTC students.
- Assists students in developing acceptable Work-Related Behaviors (WRB) for competitive employment in connection to PBIS.
- Supervises students as they transition to and from classes.
- Demonstrates, uses, and models a basic understanding of the Student Support Center process to students and peers.
- Provides assistance for students returning after Level II & Level III violations.
- Maintains respect at all times for confidential information
- Works directly with students, staff, administrators, and parents in the MTSS process and contacts parents/LEA’s when required.
- Reinforces and explains school rules to individual students and promotes good social relationships between students.
- Notifies administration when a student needs additional support and interventions.
- Reinforces and explains school rules to individual students, parents, and LEAs.
- Maintains PowerSchool log entries of students referred to the Student Support Center and makes copies of referrals and plans for all involved staff.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the principal or designee.

Essential Job Qualifications Required:
Salary: Classified Salary Schedule Grade 3; $19.51-$21.41 per hour
