- Experience with gathering, organizing, and interpreting assessment data
- Demonstrated success with identifying students’ learning deficits and academic needs
- Ability to develop and implement individualized student plans for intervention and remediation
- Strong skills in developing systems to monitor and track students’ academic progress
- Ability to evaluate the effectiveness of an intervention or lesson and make data-driven decisions for instruction using formative assessments
- Passion for engaging learners in a rigorous learning environment
- Absent an emergency or illness must be committed to work the entire summer school program
- Demonstrates the ability to provide differentiated instruction in math and literacy
- Demonstrates the ability to administer a quality-individualized literacy program
- Demonstrates the ability to function effectively as a member of the instructional team and work effectively with parents

MANDATORY MEETING(S):
Mandatory meetings for planning and professional development.
Planning and teacher collaboration meetings will be paid at $60/hour up to 2 hours.
SUMMER SCHEDULE:
Secondary: June 13- July 29 (Monday-Thursday)
3 hours of instruction per day, 30 minutes of planning daily – 3 1/2 hours per day, 4 days per week
There will not be summer school July 4 - 7
7th-8th: 8:30am - 11:30am with an additional 30 minutes of planning
9th - 12th: 8:00am - 11:00am with an additional 30 minutes of planning
Goal: Engaging learners in an in-person learning environment that will recover their learning loss and move them towards grade level/graduation in the following content areas:
ELA
Math
Science
Social Studies
ELL
HOURLY RATE: $60.00
