    1.0 FTE Math Teacher: 6th, 7th and 8th Grades

    Required Background/Qualifications:

    • Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate in Math

    • Secondary Certification, 6th-12th Grades
    • Candidates must have a passion for working with middle-level learners
    • Ability to effectively integrate technology into the Math Curriculum to enhance student engagement and communication
    • Collaborative individual who enjoys working with colleagues both in and out of school in ongoing professional development and classroom instruction
    • Excellent communicator who is proactive in addressing issues with students and communicating with families and administration
    • Supportive and knowledgeable around implementation and support of PBIS
    • Willingness to engage in student activities and professional organizations in addition to classroom responsibilities
    • Upholds the highest ethical and professional standards

    Preferred Background/Qualifications

    • Secondary Math and Science Certification, 6th-12th grades
    • Spanish speaker
    • Professional expertise and experience working in a PLC environment
