What are the responsibilities and job description for the Video Coordinator and Graphics Specialist, Athletics position at Kent State University?
Coordinate video operations to include video production, video editing, graphic design, and filming practice/football games. Reports to Head Football Coach, with supervision by Director of Football Operations.

Examples of Duties:
Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following:
Design, develop and produce visual materials and videos to market Kent State's football program.
Prepare graphic materials using desktop publishing and other computer software.
Produce team highlight films for football team motivation prior to games.
Film fall and spring football team practices; cut-up practice film for coaching staff; upload practice film into DVSport for coaching staff.
Perform set-up and breakdown of home and away video needs.
Coordinate video exchange with all opposing teams.
Compile video library of opponents' games on televised broadcasts.
Provide technology support for coaches’ computers/tablets and assist in overall management of office technology.
Assist recruiting office with photography/filming during official visits.
Assist Graduate Assistants with highlight cut-up tapes for recruiting purposes.
Provide direct supervision to student employees engaged in video work.
Communicate all video technology needs to Director of Football Operations.
Assist in ensuring compliance with all NCAA, MAC, and institutional rules and policies.
Perform related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in sport management/administration, graphic/creative design, photojournalism, or related field. Two years of relevant experience.

Experience working in a Division I athletic department.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:
Moderate work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Incumbent must be able to communicate with others. Incumbent may be required to travel from building to building frequently and off campus frequently.
Working Schedule:
Non-traditional hours to include nights and weekends.

Salary : $38,400 - $48,700
