The Bluegrass Challenge Academy is hiring an Administrative Specialist III that provides professional logistics support in the review, evaluation, development of various projects and activities.
Job duties include but are not limited to the following:
The Bluegrass Challenge Academy is hiring an Administrative Specialist III that provides professional logistics support in the review, evaluation, development of various projects and activities.
Job duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Interprets and applies rules, regulations, and applicable policy relating to property acquisition and inventory for Bluegrass Youth Challenge Academy;
- Monitors unit budget status and makes recommendations to supervisors of adjustments/alternatives to stay within budget;
- Studies program need for equipment, supplies, etc. and makes recommendations for requisition thereof;
- Reviews, compiles and prepares reports for compliance with federal, state, and agency reporting requirements;
- Oversees and/or instructs state active duty personnel when assisting program with various logistical operations;
- Attends staff meetings in the Logistics Supervisor's absence.
Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION: Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Three years of professional, administrative, or business experience.
Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: Additional education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Additional administrative, business, research, and/or clerical experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): NONE
Working Conditions
Incumbents working in this job title primarily perform duties in an office setting.
