Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources is seeking a fulltime technician for their headquarters maintenance staff. The successful candidate, with supervision, performs maintenance of agency buildings, grounds, and equipment; and performs other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Performs essential maintenance to agency buildings on headquarters campus. Includes tasks of but not limited to carpentry, siding, painting, sealing, mechanical and drinking filter change, light bulbs and other duties as directed by branch superintendent as required to keep all facilities in proper working and presentable order.
- Performs maintenance duties to grounds throughout entire headquarters grounds. Includes tasks of mowing, weed eating, spraying, trimming trees, mulching, and all other grounds-based upkeep for presentation and hygiene.
- Provides support to agency staff for all manner of renovation, office relocation and infrastructural repairs.
- Performs routine maintenance of equipment and tools utilized for maintenance of grounds and facilities.
- Remove trash and natural debris maintaining aesthetic park quality throughout campus.
Preferred Skills and Abilities:
- Strong background in maintenance activities for both grounds and buildings.
