The Joseph "Eddie" Ballard Western Kentucky Veterans Center is a 156-bed long-term care facility located in beautiful Hanson, Kentucky that is committed to serving Kentucky’s Veterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity and providing compassionate care.
We are currently seeking a self-motivated, caring individual to be the Nurse Administrator (Assistant Director of Nursing) of our Nursing Department. The ideal candidate will work within a team-centered environment to meet our commitment to serving Kentucky's Veterans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures clinical rounds are completed and makes recommendations as necessary.
- Assists the Nurse Executive in establishing/defining duties of nursing staff to ensure they are in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Evaluates resident care on a daily basis ensuring resident care needs are met
- Assumes the responsibilities of Director of Nursing in his/her absence
- Conducts performance evaluations
