Kentucky ElderLaw seeks a qualified full-time Paralegal. The Paralegal will be responsible for managing assigned probate and trust administration estates on Kentucky and Indiana cases from start to finish; preparing and filing Kentucky and Indiana guardianship petitions and motions; drafting estate planning documents; managing attorneys' calendars; and managing attorneys' client communications. Kentucky ElderLaw functions as a team, and paralegals serve as back-up for each other and other staff members when needed. Understanding of applicable state statutes and case law, ability to work independently with limited supervision, and compassion for grieving families and families in crisis are essential skills/traits. Pay is commensurate with experience. Position is onsite in office. Minimum 2 years probate experience is preferred.
Outstanding computer skills are required, including mastery of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe fillable PDFs.
Experience with Actionstep or similar case management system preferred.
