ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
The Kentucky River Area Development District, an eight- county planning and development agency, is accepting applications for an Administrative Assistant. This position involves general office and clerical duties such as answering a multi-line phone system, greet visitors, distribute mail, filing, scanning, composing letters and other documents as well as other duties assigned by the supervisor.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates Degree in Business Administration or closely related field; or three years work experience in related field in lieu of education will be considered.
- Applicants must have good working knowledge of computers and software applications, possess good written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the public.
- Must be able to work under pressure and against frequent deadlines with little or no supervision.

- Starting salary $27,000 with a 5% wage increase after a successful six-month probationary period. Tuition discounts with Lindsey Wilson College available to KRADD employees and their immediate family members on applicable programs. Tuition reimbursement opportunities available through KRADD.
- Employees receive paid annual state holidays, along with a paid day off for your birthday, and accrue annual and sick leave bi-weekly. Eight- hour work days Monday through Friday 8 AM till 4:30 PM.
A criminal record check and skills assessment will be required before interviewing with the Personnel Committee of the KRADD. Applicants must pass a drug screen for employment offer.
