What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Operations Specialist position at Kenzan?
Do you have a passion for Sales and Support? The Client Operations Specialist (COS) assists Client Success Managers (CSM) throughout the business development lifecycle via focused operational support and targeted client interaction. The COS will engage in supporting functions directed at outside sales such as generating pricing drafts, processing orders, assisting with client inquiries, problem solving, and issue resolution. This role is a communication hub between Kenzan teams and our clients.
What we’ll expect from you.
- Support CSM by managing the objectives of the account, including:
- Maintain the data integrity of all account revenue
- Forecasting and providing opportunity status.
- Oversee the strategic account tasks and ensure that business development is progressing on-plan by the account leadership team
- Act as a liaison between CSM and operations/services organization.
- Interact with internal business partners and outside clients in a fast-paced support atmosphere
- Interact directly with clients and accept POs in the absence of the account manager
- Provide outstanding and enthusiastic client service and communication both by phone, chat, and email. Respond quickly and accurately to requests from inside resources as well as outside clients.
- Represent the voice of the customer to the delivery and operations team
- Prepare and submit accurate opportunities, forecasts, and statements of work to finance, legal, and procurement groups internally, as well as ensuring that the proper versions of such documents are being used by delivery teams.
- Work within multiple systems and maintain parity for all sales data
- Maintain the master records of P&Ls, SOWs, and provide accurate versioning to delivery and operations teams upon request.
- Build and maintain sales opportunities and relevant resourcing information for all opportunities within the pipeline for all assigned accounts.
- Onboard company employees to client systems, including credential and email access, and verifying full access to completion.
- Provide system reporting or analytics to the CSM, operations, and management upon request
- Develop and retain product (services) and industry, and client knowledge
- Provide historical pricing analysis to CSM upon request
Some qualifications we are looking for.
- Familiarity with organically developing trusted relationship with internal peers and clients
- Experience in fast paced sales environment working in a variety of tooling with little to no fault tolerance
- Understanding of financial forecasting and accounting within common industry tools
- Working knowledge of prioritization of daily urgencies against critical strategic objectives
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information such as resourcing plans and detailed financial data
- 2 or more years of experience in Business-to-Business Sales/Client Services role required.
- Ability to work in a sales partnership setting, where workflow is determined by incoming requests required
- 2 years of experience in technical or information technologies industry preferred.
- Prior experience in Client Relationship Management software (CRM) required. Salesforce.com experience preferred
