Job Description: Managing daily operations of a diversified farming operation in cooperation with farm owner
Responsibilities include:
- Operating late-model farm equipment, including planter, sprayer, combine, tractors, semi-trucks and, skid steers safely and efficiently
- Maintenance of equipment, land, and buildings
- Managing part-time and seasonal employees, including motivating, ensuring safety, and guiding performance
- Managing grain storage operations
- Transporting grain and produce
Salary Range: Industry leading based on skill level and experience
Formal Education: Two-year degree in agriculture or related field preferred but not required
Experience: 3 years of experience in agricultural operation preferred
Skill Requirements:
- Able to operate farm and grain handling equipment
- Mechanical knowledge and agricultural tools expertise
- Ambition to get the job done no matter the hours, weather, etc.
- Must be willing to be flexible with hours and tasks
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
