What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift position at Kerry?
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Safe and efficient operation of a fork truck
- Loading and unload of trucks
- Ensure FIFO of all Materials and Supplies
- Preparing product for shipment including preparing all required paperwork, including verifying correct product and counts
- Various cleaning tasks as assigned such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and use of cleaning devices and agents to sanitize the general work environment.
- Comply with all safety and quality regulations, and maintain clean and orderly work areas and follow GMP’s.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and skills
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to obtain a FL license
- Must follow all policies.
- Overtime may be required and may need to work flex hours at times.
- Work overtime and weekends when required
- Must perform job duties efficiently and
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift in excess of 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Able to stand or kneel for extended periods for repairs as required
Working Environment:
Factory environment with exposure to basic product chemicals and raw materials.
