Our Sturtevant, WI location is part of our Meat Division and creates dry seasoning blends for meat and snacks items that spice up the life of Kerry customers. What you'll do as Production Operator
- Start-up of equipment, production of product
- Break down of equipment and cleaning
- Measure ingredients and place in tanks
- Adhere to all GMPs and Food Safety requirements
- Handle chemicals and cleaning equipment/CIP (Cleaning In Place)
- Clean equipment and work areas per Sanitation SOPs as needed.
- Ability to set-up machines which includes confirming sanitation is complete.
- Minor trouble shooting of equipment
- Ability to understand parameters for different recipes used in processing
- Operate in accordance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Fast paced, repetitive environment
- Extreme hot/cold environments
- Working at elevated levels/heights
- Continuous standing and walking.
What you'll need!
- HS Diploma
- 6 months – 1 year of Production experience
- Forklift or Palletizer experience, preferred
- Able to lift 50 pounds without assistance
- Able to stand and walk for a long period
