What are the responsibilities and job description for the Test Driver position at Kett Engineering?
Kett Engineering is accepting applications and pre-qualifying candidates to be test drivers for 1st and 2nd shift positions. This program is working with our customer in a research and development program in Dearborn, MI.
The Test Driver follows the direction of Lead Driver and/or Project Coordinator, performs various driving services on vehicles per shift according to customers specifications. and represents Kett Engineering in a professional manner.
We are looking for candidates that are available to work full time hours or weekends.
Pay rate: $16.00/hr.
Monday - Friday
1st shift:
4:00 am to 2:30 pm
_ or_
Saturday and Sunday
7:00 am to 5:30 pm
2nd shift:
Monday - Friday
4:00 pm to 2:30 am
Essential Functions:
- Demonstrate ability to drive all schedules certified on, with complete schedule integrity and does so on a consistent basis
- Prepare accurate driver reports and other records on a daily basis, document observations in a clear and concise manner
- Perform related driving/vehicle prep work as assigned.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must have at least 5 years of licensed driving experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must have a clean driving record for the last 3 years. No points, moving violations or at-fault accidents.
- No suspensions within the last 3 years.
- No DUI, DWAI or OUI on your driving record
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
- Must be able to drive in inclement weather.
- Must be able to able to drive up to 3 hours between breaks.

- Monday to Friday

- Weekends only
