Job Overview

The Director of End User Computing and Collaboration is responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategies and initiatives that enhance the employee experience through the use of technology and collaboration tools. This role will oversee the end-user computing environment, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and collaboration platforms, to ensure seamless and secure access to the tools and resources employees need to be productive and engaged.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to enhance the employee experience through the use of technology and collaboration tools
• Oversee the end-user computing environment, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and collaboration platforms
• Ensure seamless and secure access to the tools and resources employees need to be productive and engaged
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions that improve the employee experience
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in end-user computing and collaboration technologies
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure the best value for the organization
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the end-user computing and collaboration teams, encouraging experimentation and calculated risk-taking.
• Apply engineering principles and methodologies to the design, development, and implementation of end-user computing and collaboration solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure alignment of end-user computing and collaboration initiatives with the overall technology strategy and architecture.
• Drive the adoption of agile methodologies and DevOps practices within the end-user computing and collaboration teams, to improve the speed and quality of delivery.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 10 years of experience in end-user computing and collaboration technologies
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to complex problems
• Strong understanding of the employee experience and how technology can enhance it
