The Cold BU Strategy team is focused on providing broad, strategic support for Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP) and identifying and evaluating new growth initiatives. Working directly with the VP, Route-to-market and Business Development, a cross functional leadership team, and with the support of the broader Strategy team, the Director will formulate the organization’s strategic vision. She/He will lead problem solving and opportunity evaluation, including strategic and financial analysis and the creation of business plans for high potential opportunities. The role will be responsible for proactively monitoring changes in the external environment together with progress against internal goals to determine when to adjust vs. stay the course and sharpen execution. This role will also be involved in M&A support including diligence and integration responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will bring 3 or more years of experience with a leading strategy consulting firm, with M&A experience including leading teams in due diligence and post-merger integration projects. A focus in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) or retail products industry is considered an advantage. Candidates will have demonstrated analytical, financial, and valuation assessment skills, along with the ability to deliver impactful presentations to senior-level executives. This person will have an MBA from a top ranking institution.
This individual will provide broad, strategic input into potential brand partnerships including brand distribution partnerships and will also provide support for corporate mergers and acquisitions diligence in alignment with the overall business strategy. Blending strong internal capabilities with creative, external perspectives, the successful candidate will champion new initiatives that demonstrate breakthrough thinking. With direct access to senior executives, this individual will lead highly visible, cross functional projects that will have a significant impact on the direction and performance of the company.
This role is a hybrid office-based at our Frisco, TX headquarters, with 10-20% travel. Targeting 3 days per week in the office, 2 days per week flexible work location. Director of Strategy will manage and lead a team of 1-2 Strategy Managers and reports to the Vice President, Route-to-market and Business Development.
Team and Leadership Responsibilities
- Setting Performance Direction – Assist the VP, Route-to-market and Business Development in setting performance objectives for the Cold business unit and evaluating inorganic growth opportunities. Translate broad business initiatives into clear team objectives and concrete individual goals for self and direct reports, aligning appropriately with other groups for efficient, coordinated action.

Position Responsibilities
- Work with senior leaders to help uncover and address strategic business opportunities

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Marketing, Economics, Accounting, Business, Finance, or other analytical field
- A Masters in Business Administration from a top ranking institution
- 8 years of experience in Finance, Strategy, or Marketing , OR 3 years of experience in Management Consulting
- 4 years of experience performing analytical, financial, and valuation assessments (Advanced MS Excel modeling skills – comfortable working with large amounts of data)
- 3 years of experience developing and delivering compelling MS PowerPoint presentations to senior level leadership
