Procurement Analyst

Procurement Analyst, Operations: The role of Sourcing Activation Analyst is responsible for providing analytical and tactical execution support to create a reliable and flexible supplier network with an overall lower cost structure and improved efficiency.  The Analyst works cross-functionally and supports efforts to integrate category strategies with related activities in the Supply Chain functions including Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain Planning, and Distribution. As a member of the Procurement Operations team, the Analyst’s role is to collaborate with procurement category managers to help facilitate key components of category strategies and process improvements resulting in improved supplier quality and service performance.

What you will do:

Quality & Service

• Track and manage international shipments of green coffee and juice concentrates to ensure supply by allocating volume appropriately across KDP’s network, minimizing costs and maximizing on time service metrics.
• Responsible for placing and managing PO contract releases within SAP with proper lead time.
• Use various systems and data from suppliers to compile volumes to support team analysis of pricing and market position.
• Assist in driving process and reporting improvements, leveraging technology, and connecting sites/users of the goods and services, with AP team.
• Partner with cross functional teams to monitor and resolve issues around freight, import, and warehousing operations.
• Provides support to in-bound leads at each manufacturing facility to secure on-time deliveries by suppliers while solidifying lead times.
• Collaborate with the supplier quality team, category leads, and manufacturing to reduce non-conformance incidents and improve fulfillment rates.
• Ensure all apple growers and suppliers have received and agreed to comply with KPD Ethical Sourcing Policy and KDP Code of Conduct with suppliers.
• Helps resolve invoicing issues.

Other

• Collaborate with Category Leads and Supply Chain personnel to ensure effective Category Strategy integration through KDP’s supply chain.
• Utilizes procurement tools including SAP, Ariba, Celonis, Cognos, and Kargoo Systems.
• Identifies trends and improves procurement process and procedures.
• Be proficient at oral and written communication in order to effectively explain ideas and approaches to a wide audience (MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint).
• Follow all KDP policies and procedures.

• Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on supply chain, data analytics, or Business Administration area of study.
• 3 years experience in cross functional supply chain role(s)
• Experience working with ERP systems, SAP preferred
• Proficient in MS excel
• Demonstrated experience creating and presenting reports and insights.
• Strong communication skills.
• Perform in fast paced environment with ever changing priorities.
