What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Supervisor Hiring Event position at Keurig Dr Pepper?
Responsibilities:
- Partners with the Multi-Site Production Planning Team to understand priorities based on demand signals, sales trends, and inventory status and policy.
- Determines schedules with the intent to balance staffing, machine capacity, and production efficiencies.
- Responsible for the direction and coordination of all kitting activities, i.e., this includes organizing, direction and facilitation of 3rd party production line teams, maintenance, quality and materials.
- Submit kitting request for materials, prepare purchase orders, track purchases and supplies
- Monitor Inventory expiration dates for obsolesce avoidance, adjust inventory via back flushing and provide corrective actions as needed.
- Have a track record of successful continuous improvement initiatives and results, with a focus upon lean manufacturing and 5S. Identify, recommend and execute continuous improvement initiatives in the operation including process, machinery, method and material changes, in support of plant goals. Develop and streamline procedures for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas.
- Manage all departmental maintenance activities; maintain equipment in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
- Plan or implement material flow management systems to meet production requirements
- Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation, customer service logs and training or safety records as needed
- Effectively manage warehouse staffing requirements in accordance to budgetary and contractual requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies or procedures for product transit or delivery.
- Conduct or review environmental audits for logistics activities, such as storage, distribution, or transportation.
- Familiar with Kronos timekeeping and attendance records.
- Ensure compliance with safety codes, policies, and procedures of the Company and standards established by Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) and Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field preferred
- 5 years of experience working in logistics in a warehouse or distribution environment
- 3 years of experience in a strong leadership role presenting to local leadership teams and front-line employees
- 3 years of experience using SAP or a similar warehouse management system
- 3 years of experience working with MHE, (material handling equipment) understand warehouse capacity requirements, building, loading, and delivery principals, FIFO and logistic principals
- 3 years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Working knowledge of lean manufacturing / six sigma techniques
- Lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds repeatedly
