Our 120,000 sq. ft. facility located in Berne, Indiana produces nuts, bolts, pins, rivets, and engine-critical components. Our fasteners are utilized in a range of vehicles across the globe, playing a crucial role in securing everything from engines to frames, wheel and brake systems, and beyond. Our fasteners have earned the trust of numerous original equipment manufacturers both domestically and internationally.
Responsibilities:
- Setup and operate single and/or multiple cold header machines to produce quality product of any complexity.
- Plan and perform close tolerance setups with little or no assistance.
- Use scales, microscopes, micrometers, calipers and fixed gages to check and gage work.
- Load and unload product in the process using a forklift
- Must be able to read and follow process standards, control plans and work instructions
- Starts machine, observes operation, inspect first run and sample work pieces to ensure part conforms to specifications.
- Remove and install specified tooling at changeovers and make all necessary adjustments.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to learn
- Good attendance
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- May need to train on a different shift
