Assistant Program Supervisor, Worcester, MA

The Key Program in Worcester, MA is currently seeking an Assistant Program Supervisor for a short term, emergency residence group home that serves up to nine (9) adolescent boys involved with the MA Department of Children and Families (DCF).  The Assistant Supervisor assists the Program Supervisor in the areas of program administration, client and family services, and staff training.

 Qualifications:   

• Bachelor's degree in a human service related field, required
• 1- 3 years of direct care experience minimum 
• All candidates must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a valid state driver's license; have a legally registered and insured car for work use
• Ability to work a varied schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays that may exceed 40 hours per week 
• Participation in a regional on-call system is a requirement

• Starting hourly wage range:  $26.40 - $27.27*  (*Master's Degree)

Responsibilities:    

• Coordinate daily program activities for the boys and assign responsibilities to caseworker staff 
• Help to ensure the young men receive quality services that comply with standards and regulations
• Develop positive working relationships with funding sources and all other collaterals
• Assist in the orientation and training of new staff
• Ensure appropriate staff-to-client ratio and provide direct care when needed
• Ensures implementation and adherence to health and safety policies and procedures
• Attend and participate in regional supervisory meetings and participate in the regional on-call system
