Keyera Career Opportunity Job Type: Permanent THE POSITION Keyera is currently seeking a Field Measurement Coordinator for our Wapiti Gas Plant and associated field sites in the Grande Prairie, Alberta area. The successful candidate is responsible for providing support and ownership of the measurement systems at the gas plant as well as the associated gathering systems. This position is for a Junior/Intermediate level candidate who is willing to learn all aspects of the Field Measurement Coordinator position. The successful candidate will work on a 4 day on 3 day off schedule. The preference will be for the candidate to reside in the Grande Prairie area. RESPONSIBILITIES Provide expertise and support in all areas of Measurement systems, including all Facility, Custody Transfer, and Disposal meters. Support operations and maintenance with any measurement or balance issues and data integrity on a day to day basis. Owner of all Measurement Schematics, as well as modifications and periodic reviews. Owner of production database and validation of data into accounting software. Schedule and witness meter calibrations and meter proving. Schedule and validate samples for accounting system. Assist with the budget development for the area measurement program. Interface with engineering, service, and vendor companies on measurement system issues and obtain required information to support. Support audits, both internal and external, and complete reports and recommendations on improvements as necessary. Prepare month end reports and ensure balance groups are within tolerance. Manage the creation, maintenance and safe keeping of data collection and system backups. Support measurement and reporting with flow rate and volumetric calculations for facility production accounting/plant balance meters. Support management of flow computers and gas composition updates. Provide support for all facility analyzers and pipeline leak detection systems. Strong commitment to Keyera’s Risk Management Programs. QUALIFICATIONS Electrical or Instrumentation Journeyman/Technician. Some experience with DCS, PLC, HMI and SCADA systems would be an asset. 5 year’s experience in a similar Measurement/Instrumentation role within the oil & gas industry is preferred. The ability to learn, understand and work with AER Directives 17, 60, and 76. The ability to understand production accounting systems and maintenance management systems. Self-starter who can work independently with minimum supervision. Able to complete work consistently, with moderate flexibility to accommodate varying demands from Operations Management. Demonstrates the ability to work with all levels and stakeholders within Keyera’s Organization. Familiarity with the configuration and logic development within Honeywell Experion DCS, and Rockwell PLCs/HMIs and ROC RTU's is considered an asset. At the discretion of management, other combinations of directly relevant experience and educational credentials will be considered.
