DevSecOps Engineer

KeyLogic is all always looking for experienced DevSecOps Engineers to support the development and deployment of some highly sophisticated software platforms across the DoD. The Joint AI Test & Evaluation Infrastructure Capability (JATIC) program, is developing an interoperable set of state-of-the-art software capabilities for AI Test & Evaluation. It aims to provide a comprehensive suite of integrated testing tools which can be deployed widely across the enterprise to address key T&E gaps. JATIC capabilities will support the assessment of AI system performance, cybersecurity, adversarial resilience, and explainability - enabling the end-user to execute their mission more effectively. It is a key component of the digital testing infrastructure that the CDAO will provide to support the development and deployment of data, analytics, and AI across the Department.
Responsibilities:
* An active Secret clearance or above is required.
* Demonstrate initiative and be a self-starter, able to work in a highly collaborative, virtual, and versatile environment handling an array of duties and responsibilities with particular focus on the infrastructure to support large software team development and delivery, and multi-tasking abilities.
* Provide subject matter expertise to support Dev/Sec/Ops throughout the entire software development lifecycle. Understand security requirements of various government instances. Create CI/CD pipelines and automated tests that can continuously ensure that security is inclusive throughout the cycle and that delivered software meets program objectives.
* Lead in the design, architecture, and creation of cloud infrastructure, including the use of infrastructure as code.
* Support in the management and maintenance of cloud infrastructure, including the allocation, monitoring, and security of existing resources.
* Support in the management of information and risks related to the use, processing, storage, and transmission of information or data and the systems and processes used for those purposes.
* Support in information systems security officer / manager (ISSO / ISSM) activities in obtaining / maintaining systems security posture and authority to operate (ATO).
* Assist in the management and administration of the network, performance, and maintaining network security. This could include managing and administering the total DCO infrastructure, platforms, systems, applications/tools, performance, and maintenance over system security.
* Create, maintain, and organize the division knowledge management and documentation system to ensure effective information communication, processes, and transparency.
Required Skills/Experience:
* Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to proactively engage members both inside and outside of your team.
* Experience working with project management applications, like Gitlab or Jira, is preferred, experience with Gitlab is strongly preferred.
* Great technical writing skills
* Knowledge of the Agile development process
* Experience working on large software development programs. Experience is working with multi-organizational programs is preferred.
* Experience working within agile frameworks, such as Scaled Agile Framework.
* Experience working within high technology areas, such as computer science, data science, autonomy, and artificial intelligence.
* Experience working with DevSecOps, infrastructure as code, and/or infrastructure monitoring software.
* Experience with CI/CD, cloud compute, and software development pipelines
* Experience with USG Cybersecurity processes and controls (ex. Cyber Risk Management Framework) and implementing them on CI/CD, cloud compute, and software development pipelines.
