What are the responsibilities and job description for the Java Developer - Mid position at KeyLogic Systems?
KeyLogic is seeking a Mid-level Java Developer for a Fulltime Temporary position. You will be working on a DevSecOps team supporting an IT software development project aimed at creating the next gen applications for our federal client. You will work with multiple tools and technologies like Java, Angular, AWS, SpringBoot, SonarQube and Gitlab. You will need to adapt quickly, learn new skills and provide valuable support to a high-performing team.
Job Requirements:
- 3 years of Java/J2EE programming experience
- 3 years of experience in full stack web development using Java, Angular, WebServices (REST and SOAP), JavaScript, Spring, SpringBoot, for on-prem and AWS environments
- 2 years of experience developing enterprise applications with JavaScript frameworks like Bootstrap and React
- 1 years of experience with database technologies such as Oracle, MySQL, etc...
- Experience in verifying code quality with Sonar, perform code clean-up
- Knowledge of web development specifics, including JSON, REST, web and microservices architectures, and HTTP specification
- Experience developing applications to be deployed on app servers such as JBoss EAP, Tomcat
- Experience automating unit and integration testing in a test-driven development with CI/CD model
- Experience with Source Control (Git or SVN)
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6 or later)
- Strong understanding of OO programming including interfaces
- Good teamwork and strong collaboration skills
- Experience with best practices and design patterns for writing clean, reusable, and highly organized code
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies and tools, including Git, Bitbucket, or Jira
Education Requirements: Bachelors in Computer Science or related field
Security Clearance Information:
You do not need a current/active clearance to apply but must be able to pass and hold a government
Public Trust (SF-85) background investigation. You must have a valid work visa.
