The Senior Energy Economist will play a key role in developing, modifying, and applying a variety of energy systems models and data analysis tools to examine energy macroeconomic trends, impacts of proposed government policies, and the associated financial and economic impacts of energy investment decisions. Developing insights from the analysis and communicating results to clients, the research community, and the public is also critical to the success of the position. Career path is to a director-level position with additional responsibilities and visibility.
