Machine Operator

KeyStaff is hiring fo aAOI Operator in Richardson, TX.

This position operates the automated optical inspection (AOI) machine and reviews machine-identified defects for accuracy. Reads production schedules, operations manuals and receives verbal instructions regarding sequential start-up and operation of AOI machine. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Performs a variety of tasks and works under direct supervision.

Pay: $20-21/hr

Schedule: Mon.- Fri. 7 am-3:30 pm plus voluntary Saturday from 6 am-2:30 pm when needed

Duties:

• Review AOI inspection for accurate, consistent detection of defects
• Load programs per documentation
• Make program modifications to improve inspection
• Communicate problems in the process or with components to the SMT machine operator and technical support staff for immediate
• Perform other related duties as
• Requires flexibility and understanding that all staff may be required to perform duties outside their normal area of expertise to meet the mission and goals of the Company.

Qualifications:

• College diploma or university degree preferably in a technical field considered an asset.
• Experience of running AOI machines
• Experience of inspecting SMT PCBs
• Mechanically
• Excellent computer skills
• Quality control and part identification experience
• Must exhibit knowledge and/or skill in operating equipment used in the
• Soldering experience toward IPC-A-610 standards is an
• Familiarity with IPC-A-610, Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies
• Must be able to read, understand and interpret written and/or verbal instructions and have good communication skills in
• Ability to deal with changing priorities on a daily
• Prefer at least 3 years' experience in an electronics assembly
