Job Description
Job Title: Payroll Coordinator
Reports to: HR
Direct Reports: None
Responsibilities:
- Process weekly payroll for both union and non-union employees
- File federal and state payroll taxes
- Upload retirement plan and HSA contributions
- Track wage changes per union contract
- Manage IBEW trust accounts
- Manage FMLA time
- Maintain employee files in ERP system
- Track vacation and sick leave accrual for all employees
- Post cash receipts daily
- Run accounts payable checks weekly
- Process accounts payable vouchers as needed
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
Education: Associates Degree in Accounting preferred
Experience: Minimum three years office experience in Accounting with one year payroll experience preferred
Skills:
- Experience with payroll processing
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Good communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to work with individuals throughout the organization
- Previous experience with handling sensitive and confidential information
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
