Summary:  The Director of Business Development, Mergers and Acquisitions seeks out, identifies, negotiates, organizes, and finalizes acquisition purchasing deals for Keystone. Responsible for ensuring that acquisitions meet the company’s strategy, financial goals, and fit within our culture based on our mission, vision, and values. Develops and executes the acquisitions strategy and ensures the process is efficient and effective. Plays a key role in the due diligence process, implementation, and integration of acquisitions.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Seeks and identifies potential acquisition opportunities for the Company. Conducts thorough evaluation of acquisitions to assess and determine the benefits they will bring to the Company.
  • Oversees the acquisition project management process including due diligence, financial planning, scoping, closing, and integration.
  • Coordinates research and analysis activities required to assess strategic impact and risk to the Company. 
  • Develops financial models used to estimated cash flow and the potential for profitability.
  • Be an excellent Keystone Ambassador in representing the company to potential acquisitions and promote our brand within the industry. 
  • Participate in networking activities and events to create and maintain strong contacts within the industry. 
  • Collaborates and negotiates with executives and key stakeholders.
  • Practices and adheres to Keystone’s Core Values, Mission, and Vision.
  • Any additional job duties as required by supervisor. 


Qualification Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Superior knowledge of the HOA management industry.
  • Exceptional networking, relationship building, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Strong financial and business acumen. Adept with financial modeling, valuation, and financial terms and concepts.
  • Expert project management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. 
  • Able to successfully communicate with different personalities.
  • Demonstrated success in establishing strategic direction and driving and executing results. 
  • Analytical skills, math skills, communication, decision-making, negotiating aptitude.
  • Organized, deliberate, detail oriented, and ability to multi-task.
  • Follow-up and follow-through work style.
  • Committed in a long-term customer relationship management role.
  • Challenge oriented with can-do attitude.
  • Communicates in a positive, motivating, and persuasive way.
  • Seeks help when necessary but works independently on their own.

 

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a Business-related major. 
  • Master of Business Administration strongly preferred.
  • Valid Drivers License and clean MVR, reliable transportation, and ability to drive.
  • Ability to travel across U.S.
  • 5 Years minimum of experience managing acquisitions or similar role.
