Seeking an entry level landscape designer/ exterior designer to assist with light administrative work, design, social media, and project installations. This job reports to the CEO and Lead Landscape/ Exterior designer of KFiles Design. KFiles Design designs and installs high end residential landscape and hardscape. This includes planting designs, outdoor kitchens, additional dwelling units, decorative furniture and accessories for outdoor use. This position has ample design autonomy and responsibility with room to grow in the company to a full time role. Ideal candidates show an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for curating and creating a beautiful design concept within the KFiles Design aesthetic. An ability to listen deeply to clients’ needs and apply to business needs is important.
Candidate should have a laptop capable of running Adobe programs, internet access and car.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Design OR Interior Design or minimum 3 years completed towards Degree
Responsibilities:
- Aid in building out concepts, mood boards and presentations for clients. Aid in building out concepts, mood boards and presentations for clients. Staying abreast of trends
- Involved in sourcing, compilation and estimating of accessory and furniture product offerings for clients. Includes developing and promoting strong relationships with clients and suppliers.
- Design and spec outdoor kitchens and carpentry such as treillage, gates, benches, pergola, etc. Understand and communicate design details and construction details to contractors with Lead Designer to direct the crew effectively for a high level of finished product.
- CAD/ Design and Estimate updates as needed.
- Demonstrates general understanding of design development from site analysis to completion of install. Demonstrates general understanding of design development from site analysis to completion of install.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
