Cloud Architect

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in the Akron, OH looking for an Enterprise Cloud Architect who can come in and assist on a modernization effort. This is an exciting opportunity where this individual will be able to investigate the current set up across the entire organziation and help to recommend and build a future state environment that is more in line with current global standards. Candidates will be expected to work in a Hybrid Model 2 days a week onsite. Summary: We are seeking a Cloud Architect with experience in AWS and familiarity with Azure cloud platforms. This staff augmentation role will be full time with a focus on creating and delivering an exceptional cloud architecture solution ("version 2.0") for our client and defining the guardrails around the growth of the cloud environment. It is preferred that the resource be local to the Cleveland/Akron area, but US-based would acceptable as well with the ability to travel onsite as needed. Responsibilities:

• Meeting with members of IT team to understand the current state of our cloud architecture
• Developing and implementing an exceptional version 2.0 cloud architecture solution
• Defining the framework for growth of the cloud environment
• After implementation, supporting the new cloud architecture's operations
  
  

Requirements

• Possess various cloud certifications, hands-on experience in transforming connectivity to AWS and Azure, and have a strong understanding of cloud security (e.g. Transit Gateways with Palo Alto firewalls)
• Experience with AWS and Azure Platforms
• Experience working across multiple organizational units in an Enterprise level environment
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
